MP3 not reading.

Yo, I'm starting to regret the money I've spent with magix. So I made a DJ mix and I converted it to mp3 format. I want to open it with music maker so that I can edit it. No go! It's giving me and error message saying that it can't read the file format. It's an MP3 for god's sake. I'm using Music Maker 2016. Are refunds possible if this thing doesn't read mp3's ?

mp3 files can actually be in a wide variety of formats (sampling frequency, bit rate, bit depth, etc., etc.). I would suspect you have created your mix file in a combination of these which MM cannot read.

So, using something like the free MediaInfo https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo , give us the full specification of your file.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Have you done what was suggested to the original poster? If so, what results does MediaInfo show?
