Movie Studio 2025 Ultimate suite installation issues

Hi Community, I am running the latest Windows 11 pro on a laptop with a Ryzen 9 3900 12-Core Processor - 65432 MB RAM.

I have just purchased this suite of programs as I felt it was good value for my use case. I upgraded from Windows 10 pro and have a lot of "older" applications that I continue to use.

Here is a list of the installed Visual C++ Redistributable(s) if some of these are causing the problem.

I notice some do not show a size. Can these be safely deleted? Would the program originally referencing the erased application automatically find the later version? Will that fix my installation issues with Movie Studio Suite of programs/

How else can I get full use of my Movie Studio Suite of programs?

Hi David and welcome to the user to user forums.

This could be a GPU related problem and as the Ryzen 9 3900 does not have it's own GPU. What is the GPU in your system? Make and model number please. Are its drivers up to date? For that check the manufacture's website and do not rely on Windows driver update to report that correctly.

Hi David

The issue you are have is with tthe DSP (Digital Signal Processing) function not being able to load the listed files.

Download the VC++ 2013 x64 redistributable from here.

Uninstall only the 2013 versions listed in your image above, reboot the computer then install the downloaded version.

This should fix the issue.

Hi Ray, The GPU in my laptop is an Nvidia 2070 with 6Gb VRam. I did take your advice and updated the drivers, but that did not solve the problem. Worthwhile update nevertheless.

Hi John, I followed this advice after I removed the Magix application and then reinstalled it. This appears to have done the trick. Thank you. On another matter, when I purchased this suite, it came with Boris Chroma Key plug in. When I originally installed the Movie suite I used the Coupon code while nothing was working. When I try to activate the Boris Chroma key plug-in again, it requires the Coupon code to activate it. Now it says the Coupon Code has already been used. How is this "fixable"? Thank you,

Hi David.

Once registered and activated, any third party effect should be able to be downloaded from inside the program in the Effects tab. The download section itself has the activation code printed where the download button can be seen. The code you were initially given was to be able to initially download the plugin and is now redundant.
