What a coincidence, I've been playing with the AI text to Speech today. I'm a little concerned by the fact that there appears to be a finite, but admittedly large, number of characters.
That is what it says here under the section 'New AI tools & HUB access for everyone'

Thanks, I thought I'd just double check with guys if I read that right. I have 2024 Platinum already which does not include it on perpetual licence. As far as I am aware there is not that much of a difference between the two, but that might be enough to persuade me to upgrade.

Text to Speech and Speech to Text is from Azure. You can get a free account from Microsoft Azure with a much higher allotment. However, you don't get the ease of use of the tools in Movie Studio, such as automatically creating titles (sub-titles) for Speech to Text.
