Movie Studio 16 Platinum - a 1280x720 render plays very small

Editing a new project in Movie Studio 16 recently after a year not using it, with a 1280x720 mp4 source vid. When I render in 1280x720, they play very small, against a full screen of black, both in Movie Studio's preview window and on VLC. Their properties say 1280x720, but on playing them, they are tiny and surrounded by black. The source video plays full-screen in the preview window. In the past, any 1280x720 renders always played full-screen in both preview window and in VLC. What's going on? Thank you.

My OS (then and now): Windows 7 Pro 64 (Intel i7 Sony Vaio, 12GB RAM)

@Cal-Grant

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products have their own forum here.

There should also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.

I would suggest you post your question there
