Movie in movie cut after rendering

Hi there

I try to manually make a "movie in movie" effect. Sounds simple: I take the sequence, use "Section" from the effects in order to crop the movie and finally resize it with the "Size/position" effect.

That all works fine, but then, when I render the video, a part of the movie on top is just cut away (black).

Does anybody know this problem and is there a solution for it?

I am using Movie Edit Pro Premium 2017 on a windows 10 environment.

Hi

I cannot reproduce this using the Intel integrated graphics chipset and Hardware acceleration.

Check your MEP is patched to the latest version - 16.0.1.25

Are you adjusting the clip in the following order and options?

  1. Select View/animation, Section and setting the Section required

  2. Select  View/animation, Size and position - then either adjusting the top, left, height or width numbers in the dialog or dragging the handles to adjust size then dragging the image into position.

If you are using a different graphics card are the drivers up to date and are you using Hardware Acceleration?

Otherwise we need more information eg computer specification, sequence of how you are adjusting the video etc.
