it is a pinnale dazzle dvc 100

Hi,

I can find no confirmation that the DVC 100 is compatible with windows 8 but if it ran in windows 7 try running it in compatibility mode.  This is an old capture device that was originally designed and sold to be used with windows XP.  From what I could find it seems to have worked in Vista and Windows 7, but we are talking about a really cheap capture device, so you may want to think about getting something a little more current.
