Movie Edit Pro MX Plus 2013 two-parter

This was touched upon briefly here but I'm still kind of stymied. I wish there was more thorough documentation for some of these functions. Going thru the same thing with Xara Photo & Graphic Designer as a web design tool. But I digress....

Part 1: How do I create a photo slideshow using MEP MX Plus? Do I treat it as a regular movie project and export it as a slideshow?

Part 2: Since I purchased the download version, there are zero templates to start with. Is there a site where I can download some templates?

Thanks so much!

Jack

Hi Jack

To answer in reverse order :-

Click Help, Free download the follwing dialog will open to select the extras you need, these include templates, effects etc

Note if you select all at once, the download can takes an hour or more depending on your internet connection speed.

A quick way to make a slideshow is to put the images / video on the timeline in the order you want them, make any cuts to video if you only ant a section of a clip, then click Effects, Wizards, Slideshow Maker and select your options in the Slideshow maker dialog.

Make any further adjustments eg change the music and you can then burn to DVD/BD or export as a file to play on a computer.

Thanks, again, John, just one other thing, I'm planning to put the slideshow(s) on our web site (using Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 2013). So I'm guessing, I can just put it on the page and upload it to the web server, right?

Thanks so very much again, John! I know sometimes I can be a little "thick" but you guys always are so helpful & patient. Not all "help" sites are.

Jack
