Movie Edit pro MX burning process mistake

I use Movie Edit Pro MX. I'm working with Window XP. I have loaded the video from mini DVD to PC by DVD driver. I have edited the project and saved it. I should like to burn it to DVD. The application begins the work, but in the "encoding" process it sudden stops. The total system crashes and the Windows XP automatical restarts.

I try to make the burning more times with more different projects . The mistake always comes to pass.

Make sure you have any patches for the software and if you make sure you have all the necessary Windows updates and Firmware updates for your burner.

I'm not sure I understand what your saying...

I am only recommending that you go to Microsoft website and make sure your Windows version is up to date. Then, from the information of the manufacture of your DVD burner (hardware device) check to see if they have an updated driver pack (firmware).

This, with any updates for the Movie Edit Pro MX available should solve any issue. If your not sure how to find out who makes the DVD burner, you might check to see if the original manufacture of the computer has that information.

I have the Movie Edit Pro MX but I am using Windows Vista 64 and Windows 7... neither have any burning issues that I have yet noticed.
