Hi

The image below shows you how to import plugins, after you have put them in a folder of your choice or one of the folders indicated by 3 in the image.

From the Effects tab follow the numbers in the image to get to the windows shown - no 4 allows you add other folders for MEP to search for plugins - note the paths at 3 are for MEP2013, yours will be different.

Hi,

First this is a user forum that is hosted by Magix.  We are all users here not Magix employees.  Second, by definition, "Plug-ins are additional programs that expand the functionality of the main
program. They are inserted into the main program."  First you need to have them installed on your system, then you need to locate them and point the program to their location.

The plug-ins in your message do work with MEP but only after they are installed and located by MEP.  The plug-ins in the manual are examples of plug-ins that work with MEP they were not necessarily included when you bought the program.

If you did receive some free plug-ins when you purchase MEP and installed them per the instructions they should automatically show up.  If you did not receive any free plug-ins (not all versions do), and have not purchased and or installed any, you will never see them.

As for audio plug-ins you must have missed the part in the manual that talk about plug-in installation.

"Before using audio effect plug-ins, they first have to be installed – this process may be different depending on the plug-in. VST plug-ins are typically saved in Audio editing 159 a certain directory, which must be entered in the MAGIX Movie Edit Pro MX path settings. After the path has been indicated, MAGIX Movie Edit Pro MX scans it for working plug-ins and offers them to be used. You can also indicated multiple locations where VST plug-ins are installed.

Hi

What I'm looking for is 1 that alters the beat to my music from standard to Reggae

Very unlikely - nothing like that, AFAIK, exists for proper music authoring/editing software eg Logic Pro, Cakewalk etc.
