Has anything been done to make moving the presets and screen layouts from SFP12 to SFP13 yet?

I've had SFP13 installed for a while but haven't used it because I dread the thought of remaking all those presets.

Not that I am aware of ... unfortunately. Though 'some' of the layouts can be transferred.
There are preset folders in Pro 12 (and 12.1), and I have already tried copying the folder to 13 (which is not there to begin with) but it does not help.
"C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\MAGIX\Sound Forge Pro\12.1"

The user custom layouts and keyboard shortcuts are in:
"C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Sound Forge Pro\12.1" and can be copied/pasted from Pro 12 to 13.

This info from MAGIX_Redaktion may help some and there is a batch file link to migrate your settings from Version 12 to 12.1. I do not know if it will work with Pro 13. Probably does the same thing as copy/paste the layouts as above.

btw, Appdata is a system folder and hidden by default. To view it in Win 10, go to 'View' and check-mark the 'Hidden items' box.
Copy a folder contents if your changing anything in case something goes wrong.

Hi rraud,

Thanks for the link to the batch file. I modified the registry entries to move from 12.1 to 13.0 and ran it successfully. Screen layouts and presets appear to have moved correctly. I had previously copied over the stuff in the appdata directories. The batch file copies the contents of the registry entries where the presets and such are stored.
