I can't get the video I want to record up on the Magix 7 screen, nor does it record.

In the instructions, nowhere does it tell you to connect the usb video recorder to the vcr - it tell you to connect the cables to the sound card etc on the pc. I have connected the usb video recorder to the vcr, however, using the supplied scart; but really useless instructions.

If anyones figured this product out, do please help. I'm using a tv/vcr combo, is that the problem?
