Monitor recording level feedback

I am getting what sounds like feedback on the Vinyl Recording And Restoration Tool when I select the Monitor recording level.

Switch the Monitor to 'OFF' just prior to initiating 'record'. The record level meter will reactivate when you 'roll tape'. If you still hear the loop (feedback), switch the Monitor to 'OFF' in 'View> Record Options' as well.

Depending on your set-up, you could try a different record/playback device setting.
