I just downloaded the "Trial" ver. of SoundForge 10 for the PC - I'm using Win 7.  Though I can listen during recording with an earlier vers. 9, I received when I purchased a new Sony turntable, I cannot seem to get it to work with this trial version out of the USB port.  I can hear to the recorded files just fine afterwards just doesn't work during "monitor" while recording.  Any thoughts? .  I would consider upgrading if I could get this to work.
