I do not think there could be a problem in your computer but  Magix 2014 is a new version may need some updates. Better check the Magix website or try to update your software. Also ask the Magix support about your problem.

That is great. I am glad if your problem is solved.

By the way what was your Operating system? windows 8?

I had the same problem. In my case I needed to update my Flash ActiveX Player from Adobe. (The Flash player for my system rather than the Flash player plugin of my web browser.)

Once I did this and restarted MM2014 again, the 'Failed to load VST / Vita' error was gone and the samples all played correctly.

Hope this helps anyone having the same problem.
