MM Update Does not install...

Hi, I just got the new update last week and am trying to upgrade from MM17. The installer seems to go through its paces installing for a few seconds and then becomes unresponsive. Here is the error message I get if anyone understands it and can tell me what is the problem, I'd be very grateful! Thanks! (I'm running Win 7, 16GB ram) Seems there was quite a problem updating from ver. 6 to ver. 10 as I recall...

Thanks for starting a new topic with the issue you are having.

There are several things that can cause the crash with installers:

There is an existing install awaiting a reboot of the computer

Try rebooting the computer - Windows button, Power button, Restart
Antivirus is blocking the installer

What AV are you using?
The installer download is corrupt

Try downloading the installer again and reinstalling

This is issues caused by upgrading from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 not upgrading Music Maker versions.
