@martin-Wakefield

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Assuming you mean you are trialling the new Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab (otherwise known as SF ACL), a quick search of the installed Help files under "Tracks" would have given you the answer!!😁

However, see my screen shot below. At the right hand end of the track window, highlighting each of those numbers in turn will add a track to the workscreen.

One other thought: it is possible that the Trial version is deliberately limited and does not include this facility until you decide to buy the app.

Thank you Jeff, I did look through the manual but as you suggested that option is not available on the demo, I don’t really want to buy the full version of this functionality is not available on there either.

thanks for replying, regards

@martin-Wakefield

So, just out of curiosity, are you now going to buy the app?

Hi,

I'm not sure that I follow exactly what you are trying to do.

First, confirm that it is SoundForge Audio Cleaning Lab (SFACL) and not just Audio Cleaning Lab that you have as a trial.

I have the trial version of SFACL and I can turn on all of the 8 tracks.

Do you see the button for the other tracks like Jeff showed?

Below is an image with 3 tracks on and a wave file on each track.

To get one object below the other, simply drag it with the left mouse button held down.

If you have objects on 3 tracks and you want to move one of them on track 1 or 2, the ones on the lower tracks will move in tandem because "Ripple objects" under Options is on by default. Turn it off.

Hi john, yes it is SFCL but just trialling it, the screen is the same as your screenshot, with the exception of the potential of 8 tracks. I presume it’s just on the full version. I dinlike the product but was concerned about buying the full version of I could use more than one track.

Thank you for you’re help John

Hi Martin,

The screen shots that I posted are from the trial version and, as you can see, there are 8 tracks available.

Can you post a screen shot of your screen?

It would appear I had downloaded both audio cleaning lb and the sound forge version but was only looking at the magix version. Thank you all for you’re help, it’s all good now back on SoundForge ACL
