Mixing down issue

Jeremiah-Wilson wrote on 5/19/2024, 10:47 PM

I created a slideshow with photo story but when I export it and create a windows media file of it, two thirds of some of the videos are cropped off. Like I can only see a third of the video, like it's been cropped off and I can only see the left side of the video.

Why is it doing that and how do I correct it?

Thank you for any help!

@Jeremiah-Wilson

Hi

Do the video clips on the timeline play OK in the Preview Monitor?

What effects are applied to the videos that are cropped off in the exported video, Size, Position & Rotation, Section etc.

Before exporting did you change any of the parameters in the export dialogue, if so what did you change?

Hello, thank you for your response. I finally figured out what was causing the certain videos in my slideshow to look cropped.

Some of the videos orientations had to be rotated 3 times to be upright. I realized that all 5 of the videos that had the same issue had the same orientation and rotations. So I flipped the orientation after rotating it, and that solved the problem.

The videos are mirrored but they now display correctly when exported.

Thanks again,

Jeremiah Wilson
