Missing CD drive on Audio Cleaning Lab 2005

I have successfully installed my old (but excellent for my needs) Audio Cleaning Lab 2005 on my new windows 7 64bit HP laptop, using compatibility mode for XP. The relevant activation code and MP3 encoder upgrade code are in place.  All seems to work as it should, until it comes to burning to a CD, when the programme steadfastly refuses to believe that there is a CD drive.  This function worked fine on my old Windows XP PC.  All other programmes recognise the CD drive.  I have tried everything I can think of. I don't really want to upgrade, to a new version, as this one is perfect for my needs.. Any ideas please?

Will give it a try. Thanks.

Hi

The problem is that the Magix burn routines installed with the software are out of date and do not recognise the CD/DVD drive.

You can update these with the burn routines available here
