Missing audio when importing MP4

I am using Movie Edit Pro 16, version 9.0.1.60 (C2).

I have been importing MPEG-4 files without problem until today. Now one of the files will only bring in video, no audio. The other two files I import have no problems. The problem file has not been altered. I have closed the program and re-opened the master file. I have tried using a different master file to import into. Same problem. I have not rebooted my computer, but am about to try that next.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have rebooted without any change. I can play the file, with audio in QT, but Magix does not see the audio and says no audio file is attached to the video.

I copied the file with a new name and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you.
