Migrating MAGIX Video Easy from a failing computer

Karl-Kuenzel wrote on 11/17/2022, 8:01 AM

My old computer is no longer reliable, meaning I cannot use it. I have purchased a new computer and am in the process of moving my programs and data to the new computer. This has worked fine for everything except MAGIX Video Easy 7. The download works. The file opens. But then I get a message that tells me to "DELETE THE PRODUCT FROM MY COMPUTER." I delete it. It is not there. I open the download file to install, and the same message appears. What can I do so that I can use MAGIX Video Easy? Thank you.

My new computer is a Dell Inspiron 3910 running Windows 11 Pro

@Karl-Kuenzel

Hi

Did you try restarting the computer - Windows button, Power icon, Restart before installing?

If that fails see this Microsft article and apply the fix before trying to re-install.
