The update for 2022 premium edition kw142022 has not successful. My midi grid once grey is now black. Is there something else that i need to download?

Your latest post is still very much lacking in information!
First, the latest release version of MM 2022 is 30.0.5.47. Can you confirm that this is the one you have?
Second, I've never before seen the kw142022 data you've given. Is this a "special" version, e.g., the Steam edition of MM?
Third, can you please take and post here a screenshot of your MIDI screen, so we can be sure we are all talking about the same thing? I can see a "black MIDI editor screen" IF I have NOT previously selected a MIDI object before entering the editor.
