Acid 8.0 Pro, just purchased as an upgrade from 7.0. Both 64bit and 32 versions, unable to get volume control of a midi vst synth. Even Magix's own..such as DN-e1, which ships with Acid, you can't control the volume. I tried using a generic control #14 and "learning" the volume, which sort of works, but it's not smooth and the volume doesn't actually change in real time. this is a huge problem, as I'm half way through a big project for a big client, and can't go back to Acid 7 now. Cannot route the output of the synth to a bus for volume control either....so...what's the workaround?
