midi studio 11 won't run under Windows 7

When I click on the Midi Studio 11 icon, the program launches, but Windows 7 shuts it down immediately. What is wrong? Is Music/Midi Stuido 11 not supported anymore? How do I enter musical notation without MIDI Studio?

unfortunately yes, this product is no longer supported on Windows 7. You can try running the software in compatibility mode, however, we cannot guarantee it will work :

You would need to upgrade your software or use it on a previous version of Windows.
