midi studio 11 only records one instrument track

i have been tryingg to record more than one input from a midi keyboard into the arrange window of magix mid studio 11 for ages and cannot get more then one instrument to sound. selecting a second and third instrument on different lines show the notes as they are played but only the first track actually plays...in the tutorial songs on the program, if i delete those instruments and play into that arrange window it works fine with multiple tracks playing properly, but i cannot see why the main arrange window which opens when the program opens only plays one track, that is the first one intrument recorded.

any assitance would be appreciated.
i have noted that their is a record into sequence option but despite setting and resettign thes eoptions cannot make any progress

Hi DATSUN,

Not sure what is going wrong. Seems to work fine for me. Can you possibly further detail exactly how you're setting up everything step-by-step? Are you actually using the MIDI tracks that will output to the MS GS Wavetable SW synth or external MIDI hardware or are you using the AudioInst tracks, for which you can configure software instruments and external VSTi plug-ins in the Midi Studio mixer window? A screen shot of your arranger window that shows what everything looks like during the problem situation might be insightful as well.
