MIDI Keyboard does not work with the piano

catwomancostume111 wrote on 10/12/2016, 6:04 PM

I connected my MIDI Keyboard (Midistart 3) and tried to play the piano that is in Music Maker under keyboard. I can see the notes playing on the desktop but I can*t hear any sound. When I record it I still can*t hear any sound. Only when I play back the recording I can hear somethig. What can I do about this?

I changed the Audio playback and nothing changed. I can also add that even when I play the piano with the mouse or on the computer keyboard I have the same reaction (I can see the notes being played but I can't hear them).

The soundtrack percussion that is the VST from the programm is working fine with both my MIDI keyboard and the computer keyboard.

Hi

Check that the Monitoring option in the Audio Recording dialog, click the gear next to the recording button,  is checked as shown below

If the monitoring option is checked, are you doing anything different, in setting up the track for MIDI recording, to what I do in this video clip?

Note this is Music Maker 2016 Premium however the Movie Score Edition should be similar.

Click the Youtube button in the player for a higher resolution video.

The Monitoring option was already checked in the program and I selected and deselected to see what happens and it did not worked in any way. Could you please post a direct link to the Youtube video because I can't see it?
