MIDI issues with MM2019 premium

Tazlikesrobots wrote on 8/22/2018, 9:40 AM

1. I have an issue where MIDI notes randomly play after I stop playback. sometimes it takes a few presses of the stop button for the random sounds to stop.

2. May be more of a newbie question, but how do you get an instrument to "stick" when using an imported midi file? I select an instrument and import a MIDI file into the editor. When I press play, it will then play some other random instrument that I did not select. Tried setting the instrument from editor and the timeline, but nothing seems to stick.

Thanks for the update! Tried to open a support case and got this -

Unfortunately your last registered product is too old.

You can buy a voucher in our shop.

I just bought the product, so is there another way to contact support?

Hi

. . . . Unfortunately your last registered product is too old . . . . .I just bought the product, so is there another way to contact support? . . . .

Assuming you got a serial number for Music Maker, you should be able to manually register the product here - you will need to login and select Product registration. Once this is done you should be able to raise a ticket.

Going to have to call tech support. The site already has my product registration, but when I look in support, there are no registered products.

Thanks!

Well to date, I have not had any success getting in touch with a live body at Magix. Anyone know of an email or phone number besides 305-722-8510 that I can use to get in contact with customer service?
