Midi files cannot be converted to wave.

Hello. My name is Mike. 08/16/2024 I purchased Magix Samplitude Music Studio X8. When I started working in the program, I found that midi files are not converted (not exported correctly) to wav. The Wav file is saved, but it turns out to be empty (without sound). Studying the instructions did not help in any way. My operating system is Windows 10. Help please. Tell me, what should I do? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

@Mikhail-Bashirov MIDI files do not contain any audio but only control messages. These are send to a MIDI playback engine, usually the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, which is an external software, so Samplitude doesn't get this audio back. It goes directly to your speakers.

You first need to load a VST Instrument on your MIDI tracks so Samplitude can render the MIDI to audio. Alternatively you can use a software like Synthfont to convert MIDI to audio.
