Hi lately I am experiencing this error which is a first ever since I have used Samplitude, it is complaining about midi overload on midi engine. Other typical errors I experience is constant freezes and lately after the latest update Samplitude seems to constantly take 100% CPU resource and 53% RAM.

@Fhatuwani-Netshifhefhe What is your MIDI Input and output? Are you maybe sending MIDI from your keyboard to Samplitude and then back to the keyboard so you get a feedback loop?

Hi @SP. I am inputing from a Midi keyboard but not sending output back to the keyboard

@Fhatuwani-Netshifhefhe I see on your screenshot that you have selected ALL channels for the MIDI input. Maybe try a single channel. Does the error message go away? Additionally, can you show us a screenshot of the selected MIDI devices in the Samplitude settings?

@SP. changed to one input error goes away but no sound output when I play the midi keyboard now on that specific track

@Fhatuwani-Netshifhefhe Does the instrument require a certain channel? You need to the correct one of the available 16 channels. Also, you might want to change the global output device to something else than your keyboard.

@SP. Like should I set global output device to the audio interface?

@Fhatuwani-Netshifhefhe For example, the global MIDI device is used for playing back MIDI files selected in the file explorer. Usually the standard Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth should be fine for this.

@SP. great thank you I will default it to the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth and see how it responds

@Fhatuwani-Netshifhefhe OK. It's just a precautionary measure in case there are notes send in a feedback loop to your MIDI keyboard.
