I am using Magix Music Maker Premium, and attempting to utilize the midi of Behringer UMX250. In the config it appears in the MIDI input devices, however when I select an instrument, while the software keyboard works, the UMX250 doesn't make a peep. It is installed in my Windows device manager. What am I missing please, anyone?
Did you switch to the Asio drivers in the settings? Press "P", got to audio/MIDI settings and select the Asio driver. that might do the trick.
Hi there. Thanks for responding. Yes I am using the ASIO driver and the Input device is set to UMX 250 representing my keyboard, still no sound or midi recording when I select any instrument and record using MIDI record. Only the software keyboard works.

Change the settings of the Audio / Midi tab playback to one of the 2 options available at 1 in the image below, and select your Behringer at 2 (I have no MIDI keyboard plugged in so mine is blank.
If the Behringer is not appearing at 2 above then you may need to install 2 bit drivers for it - MMM is 32 bit and needs the corresponding 32 bit driver which you may be able to get from Behringer.
Also ensure that the MIDI track is armed for recording as shown below - note this is for an earlier version of MMM, however the principles are the same.
