metronome help please!

Hey, I'm using magix music maker 15 and I'm having trouble with the metronome.  Whenever I change the tempo of the metronome for different songs, it completely changes the tempo of what I have played in realtime.  I dont understand how changing the metronome speed can make a realtime guitar playback faster or slower.  Can someone please help me fix this?

Thanks,
Mike

What did you expect?  The metronone, soundpool objects, and the entire arrangement are sync'd to the same "tempo" clock.

You can change the tempo of individual objects, but if you change the arrangement tempo or the metronome, it changes the entire arrangement.

It's a good idea to set the arrangement/metronome tempo BEFORE you record anything in realtime.

Separate songs with different tempo's should be created in separate arrangements.  You can export them, and then import them into a new arrangement if need be.

Same Situation. Exported audio files follow the metronome when you try to correct it. The starting point is always 120bpm even though exported audio files are in a different tempo
