Hi - rather annoyingly the meters are running slightly ahead of music playback. This is not happening on any other similar program, only Sound Forge 17. I'm sure it's a simple fix - can anyone help please? Big thanks!

Hi - thanks for the suggestion. I have tried this and it has made no difference unfortunately. The spectrum analyser on the "modern equaliser" plug in on the effects menu is the same - showing a waveform of a beat just before you hear it. Something's up but can't figure out what!!
If you're playing MP3 (or another lossy format) try enabling the 'Always proxy compressed formats' option in the "Options> Preferences> General" menu. If that's no help, experiment with a different buffer playback setting but I am not sure either will resolve the issue.
