I'm having some issues with the set up Magix Music Maker 2019. Firstly I'm wondering if anyone knows why I can get the midi and microphone to work fine, I can hear them in headphones and I can record however I can't hear anything when I hear the playback. Then when I stop the playback, a message comes up going "The play session has been saved successfully. What do you want to do with the file". I can exit it and it is fine but why does it keep popping up?

@Nikita-Dean-Hart

Hi and welcome to the forum

We need more information in particular the version number of Music Maker, Windows version and computer specification - see this topic for what is required.

. . . . Then when I stop the playback, a message comes up going "The play session has been saved successfully. What do you want to do with the file" . . . .

Can you post a screenshot of this message.

Hello! Thank you for getting back to me but I have just solved the issue. I had to put the track on midi after recording on audio rec to hear the playback.

Kind regards,

Nikki

Hi Nikki,

Part of what you're describing here sounds like a known bug, with the content of audio tracks not being audible if that particular track is still armed for audio recording during playback. You shouldn't have to put it on MIDI REC to resolve this. Completely turning of the recording for that track will work. But yes, either setting will have the same effect. You just need to avoid having any track on AUDIO REC, if you actually want to hear it. This has already been reported to development and should be fixed in an upcoming Music Maker patch.

Cheers!
