Hi Micheal.

You are correct. The plugin was not it seems even installed on my machine looking at the relevant plugin folder.

It was installed on my old machine before I rebuilt it.

I am also having this problem - Vegas Video Stabilization is not working and I get the same error message. Has anyone figured out how to fix this yet?

mha wrote on 10/2/2019, 12:20 PM

I had various problems with plugins in MEP2020, e.g. Hitfilm Movie Essentials and as mentioned above Vegas Video Stabilization. Suspecting (no proof) the upgrade process from MEP2019 to MEP2020 I decided to reinstall everything using my saved MEP2020 install files (Magix download folder). No success with Hitfilm made me go round in circles. Then I decided to uninstall everything with the name MAGIX and start from scratch using the download manager. Vegas and Hitfilm are working as expected now. Checking the new downloaded MEP install .exe made me scratch my head. The recently downloaded version claims to be 19.0.1.18 exactly like the one I used previously. But with a slightly different name and huge difference in file size. The new install .exe is nearly 150MB bigger than then previous one DLM downloaded last time. Not saying this is the fix but I think it is worth scraping everything and let DLM fetch what might be a different 19.0.1.18. Maybe some Magix insider can chime in and explain the difference and/or comment on my upgrade suspicion.

Good luck

Michael

PS: I updated to 19.0.1.23 with no issues. Hitfilm and Vegas still working

Thanks so much for the info. I also upgraded from 2019 to 2020. I will give your solution a try when I get done with my current project.

@CubeAce

Why is your plugins manager in your screenshot looking in the Prodad folder? Vegas Stabilization is a Magix plug in and should be found in the path stated in @mha 's error message.

Others have fixed the problem by updating their video drivers. The clue may be in the error message where it talks about "incompatibility".
