MEP17 won't open after upgrading to Windows 10

Hello.

Any tips on how to get MEP17 to open after upgrading to Windows 10? Error Code -6 displays upon trying to open the program and advises that the program cannot be started.

I set it to Run as Administrator but that didn't help. Also tried the Compatability option but it only goes up to Windows 7. I suppose this means MEP17 won't run under Windows 10.

(Interestingly, MEP14 *does* open in Windows 10, but when loading a movie, the edit screen disappears.)

Thanks.

Hi

Assuming you mean MEP 14 and not 2014, then both 14 and 17 are not Windows 10 compatible.

You can try re-installing MEP 17 using this procedure, however it is not guaranteed to work with MEP 17, in particular one of the potential issues will be the disc burner will not be available.

For Windows 10 it is better to upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version.

Thank you. I have downloaded the file and will give it a try.

In the meantime, MEP14 is working in Windows 10, with some limitations, but I got the video to display on the timeline :-)
