MEP17+HD problem with effects input value not accepted

I’ve been using a new version of MEP and have run into some strange control issues in the effects control panel, that I don’t recall seeing before.

In the screen shot you can see I’m inputting a rotational alignment value.  I want to input “0.5” - when I do, the instant I hit return, the value changes to “0.45”  It’s not a very big deal from the standpoint of the image quality (0.05 degrees is not much), but it does irritate me: why will the software not accept the value that I want.  In other shots, it has no problem accepting this value.  This is an occasional problem.  I haven’t seen the pattern yet.

Attempts to tweak the value with the up and down buttons have failed - sometimes the buttons produce no value whatsoever.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

thanks

Boris

I have seen values change before, not for this particular effect. Usually I see values automatically change for length, but on occasion, I have seen things change for position too.

I am not certain what the cause is though, for me, I just assumed that because of the NTSC standard I am using, and the odd .97 frame was causing the program to calculate out what was necessary or allowable under that effect for that duration. I am not 100 sure on this assumption, but in my mind it made sense. I don't know if my fuzzy logic can be applied to your issue though.
