MEP MX Plus - Displayed Imported Projects Is Different From MEP 16 Plus ----- A Question

Whalebat wrote on 1/20/2012, 7:37 PM

I notice that in MEP MX Plus I can no longer view imported movies together as they are imported into a project.

See the image below .... How imported projects can be  viewed in MEP 16 Plus.

MEP MX Plus does not do this now!!

What might I be overlooking?

Hi Whalebat

The program interface has been redesigned.

1.  I think the record tab is somewhat superfluous in the previous versions.  Just click the record button under the preview monitor and all will be revealed more or less as you are familiar with.

2. In Story board mode ? You need to be in Timeline mode Click the button 1 shown in this image.  Button 2 is the new Preview Render function - useful for HD playback improvements - image was used for another post.

A full pdf manual was installed with the software select Start, Programs, Magix, MagixMovie Edit Pro MX, Documentation  - most of the things you need are explained there.

Hello John

Thanks for the reply. Your explanation does not answer my question.

I am aware of the supplied documentation and pdf.

They also do not answer my question.

In previous versions of MEP Plus I was able to glance at the storyboard and see what projects I had imported.

Looking at the image below taken from MEP 16 Plus.

My Question

Is it possible in MEP MX Plus to view and select either of my imported projects in the same way as shown in the image below?

Hi Whalebat

As I said the program interface has been redesigned and the Record tab dropped - therefore the screen view you have posted is not available.

The Change movie button on the Edit screen allows you to swap between movies in the same project  see p37 of the manual
