MEP 17 animated menu problem

I was finally able to narrow down the problem I was having with my blu rays not playing in my sony blu ray player.  It would only display as BD-R BDMV until I just used a static menu.   Is there a reason why I always have problems using the blu ray animated menus that come standard with Magix? I have wasted about 4 blu ray disks in the process not to mention a lot of time in burning and troubleshooting.

Hi

Does the problem occur with all the animated menus or is it a specific one?

For initial burns I use rewriteable discs either DVD-RW or BD-RE depending on whether I am creating DVD or BD discs.  Often I need to go back and make an edit or correct something which looked fine on the computer, but showed up on a large screen TV.

Once the movie is as I want it, I use the last burn on re-writeable as the master and just copy the disc to DVD-R or BD-R then I re-use the rewriteable disc.

Also you can burn BD onto a standard DVD disc if the movie is less than ~30 mins long - saves even more money.
