Hi can anyone help an idiot, I have burned 10 DVD's from this slide show using Photostory Delux 2021 now wishing to burn 3 USB for Smart Tv's but keep getting Menu Encoding Failed, I do not use menu but have have added a start from designs with button to film s this classed as Menu? in which case how do I delete it, and do all of the images seen in list on left hand side of Burn page have to be ticked with the red tick?

You cannot burn a DVD to USB in the sense of creating a USB version of a disc.
If you want menus and chapters the only option you have is to burn an ISO image, however this then requires the device that the movie is to be played on being able to support and read the ISO file correctly,.
AFAIK, the only device that would support this is another computer running either disc player software or software such as VLC which can play ISO files complete with menus and chapters.
If you intend to plug the USB stick into a TV, disc player or other hardware device your only option is the export the video as MP4 h.264 (most TVs and players support this), you will get no menus or chapters.

it plays on my computer, it could be that is so as I formatted the USB to Fat32 using the computer, but thought that may have been ok, perhaps I need to format using the TV? I used the video slide show and then selected the Smart Tv device on the right of pop up in burn, I then chose:_ MPEG-4-Export (AVCHD DVD)
Video: H.264; 1920x1080p; 50 frames/s; VBR 26000 kbit/s; HW GPU encoding
Audio: AC-3; Stereo; 48000 Hz; 384 kbit/s
PS No menu used on Film.

I'll post my PM to you here, with some minor changes to generalise, as well it may help other users:-
Most Smart TVs support either MP4 or AVCHD (.mt2s file extension) h.264(AVC) encoded video with AAC audio encoding.
The default MP4 and AVCHD export presets are set to this combination as it is the most universal.
For a slideshow on USB stick for playing on a Smart TV, check the TV's user manual which format is supported.
The USB stick, should be formatted FAT32, formatting from a TV may create a USB stick that cannot be read by other TVs.
You could export both MP4 and AVCHD video formats to your computer, check they play OK and then copy them to the USB stick - if it is big enough.
There is a wide choice of export presets to chose from - see the image below, click the indicated check box (yellow arrow) to see them all
If the viewer is UK/EU or other PAL TV system country, then the 25 fps options meet the PAL standard, if in US or other NTSC TV standard country then one of the 29.97 fps options - the resolution to use for export depends on their TV's resolution ie is it FullHD (1920 x 1080) or 4K.
To add to the complication - if the source video is lower resolution then FullHD, then is it best to export at the same resolution and allow the TV to do the upscaling to fit the screen - it will do a better job.
