melodyne tempo change in acid pro 10

Hello everyone. I am a bit new to this game of working with Acid Pro and Melodyne. The problem I am having is that whenever I try to edit the tracks in melodyne to clean up the pitches, it automatically adjusts the tempo horribly. If I listen to it in melodyne, its the correct tempo, but as soon as I listen to it in the project, it warps. If I remove the the event from melodyne, tempo goes back to normal, but then the pitches also reset to what they were originally. I have attached a screen shot of what my project looks like. The tempo markers are in there because the song was an audio file that I made on Sibelius, music creator program for teachers and musicians.

are you changing the tempo within Melodyne's interface? I know this is a weird question but Acid Pro is unstable witih Melodyne. If tempo is changed in any way in Melodyne while it is within Acid, it will malfunction in different ways.

Another method, since Acid is still buggy, you can tune your track in Melodyne and export it , close melodyne, then import the track back in your project, that way it will be tuned and you won't have to mess with melodyne's tempo changes.
