Melodyne in Soundforge Save file vs Save As

I have edited a wave file in Melodyne Studio (ARA) in Soundforge Pro 16, it will not let me Save the file. However, if I do Save As, it works. What am I doing wrong?

How do you unblock it?

I have not used any ARA plug-ins. I use SLP (SpetraLayers Pro) occasionally, but as a stand-alone, I did try SLP as an ARA plug and the file cannot be directly saved either.. I guess that is the way it is. Use 'Save as' to render the ARA process.
I did not try it in on Sound Forge project (.frg).
Contact Magix for a definitive answer.
