Maximim photo size acceptable to Video edit Pro 2016 Plus?

I plan to create a photo montage video outputting at 4096 x 2160 which will involve rostrum camerawork using the various crop/section tools available in MEP 2016 Plus.

Does anyone know please  if there is a defined maximum size (H x W) photo that can be used as a source within MEP before it starts to object?  It would be useful to specify that with my photographer from the off rather than find it out by trial and error!

Thank you   - Mike -

Hi

AFAIK there is no limit - within reason of course.

However to obtain maxiumum quality - if any image has to be rescaled, as a general rule of thumb if you do not which algorithm the rescaling will use, the original should be a factor of 4, 8 or 16 x the final output resolution.

Rescaling of images results in some loss of quality due to interpolation.
