Hi Pat

Over the 'pond' here we use the PAL TV system which is 25 fps.

As far as the project setting goes, you can use and some say you should, use the same as your video source.

It is only when burning to DVD or BD that you then change the encoders settings to one of the PAL options as shown below.

Ignore the (default) on the highlighted option - I am in PAL land so it is default by default.

I understand that If I make DVDs for Scotland TV, it is to be PAL. Does this also go for PC's and Laptops in Scotland as well?
