Making a single cymbal sound

I would like to make a single cymbal "ding" on the first beat of 2 measures at the start of my song? I'm a relative newbie and can't any percussion loop or VST insturment to make and record that sound on a track. Does anyone know how to do it? tia

You don't say: did you do a search within your own Soundpools (see screenshot below)?

You could also google for cymbal sounds.
As far as using a vst, someone else will have to help you with that.

@David-Harney You can technically shorten a drum loops so that you only have the cymbal sound you want. Did you check out the included Vita Instruments for drum hits? Which Vita Instruments can you access?
