can I copy from the left track and drop it in the right track and sync them?

With the audio selected, click the Mastering button, Object, Stereo enhancer, Mono to Stereo and select the option most appropriate - there is no need to sync as this is done automatically.
I would advise you to read the PDF manual available under Help.
