Make Video Vertical 720x1080 for Instagram IGTV

lukmanhh wrote on 6/26/2018, 5:16 AM

Hey guys

After IGTV instagram update, I have tried to make 720x1080 ratio video 9:16 25fps (vertical), after completing the edit video I proceed to export to 720x1080 ratio 9:16 25fps, but it did not work. because there is no 9:16 ratio available in the selection.

Can anyone help me?

thanks.

Hi,

i can give you the right procedure only Friday with this you can produce directly from Magix the Instangram or Facebook square video. I just need my home computer to send it. The size is 960 x 960 for square video.

Wait! What happened to the video that Michal-MST posted? It's no longer available. I'm having this same issue exporting 9:16. What was the fix?

@newmexd

Hi

I have uploaded a quick tutorial on the issue you are having here.

Added you are working to the wrong resolution settings . . . . Vertical 720x1080 for Instagram . . . . this resolution is not 9:16 Aspect Ratio (AR).

As I linked to in a comment in another topic on this issue, Instagram requires 9:16 AR with a minimum width of 720px.

If you want to work to the minimum width setting then the height setting must be 1280 px. to get the correct AR, alternatively work at 1080 x 1920.
