I am prompted to download a Major Program Update when I open up Movie Studio 17 Platinum, but after downloading it won't automatically restart the program. When I click the button it just closes the program. When I reopen the program, it prompts me again to download the update. What do I do?

When I try to use the program without the update, the program is super glitchy and I can't finish editing my video. Please help.
