Product: SAMPLITUDE Music Studio. System: WIndows 10.

I am simply trying to import audio files (in .wav, in .mp3, etc) into my current Samplitude .vip project LIKE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FOR MONTHS...suddenly, when I import audio files into my project, the file is blank, even though there's music/data there. I have muddled through the FAQ here, and the best I've come up with is converting my original files from their original format (an inconvenient step, but I did 3 different ways). Upon converting these audio files to the suggested formats to work in a .vip project, it made no difference. I still had blank files in my project. I switched from Audacity to Samplitude Magix product because Audacity had a change in privacy policy. Since using MAGIX products, my creativity/PRODUCTIVITY has really slowed down due to confusion in simply trying to use BASIC FUNCTIONS of this program. Can anyone help before I scrap this software I've paid for? Thank you for any insight.
