Mainconcept codec

I recently purchased Magix Video Pro X6. I also purchased the MainConcept MP4 codec via the program's link (using the coupon code that came with the program). It installed without a problem. When I tried to use it, I see no sign that the MainConcept codec is installed.

I go to File > Export movie > Video as MPEG-4... but there is no selection for MainConcept. Only MpegIntelExport (m2ts). I've tried to install the MainConcept codec again, but Magix says the "program package is either already installed or the installation was cancelled".

How do I use the MainConcept codec? What am I missing?

I appreciate any assistance.

I got the answer from tech support. If someone else is baffled like I was, MainConcept has to be selected under Settings > Program > System > Other. I had expected to see the MC codecs listed with the others, but you have to choose either MC or the original Intel codec to be visible.
