magnifying glass in midi edit

Richard-Boczkowski wrote on 1/24/2020, 5:36 PM

New to Music Maker 2019 so just learning. In Grand Piano midi I clicked on magnifying glass and now cannot get out of it even after trying to swith to the pens as well as after restarting the program. Therefore I cannot write notes. Tried to submit a service ticket but found no way to communicate this problem. Can anyone help ? I noticed others had this problem when Google searching but couldn't find any solution. Using Windows 10 64bit. Thanks

Can you change it from the mouse mode menu in the midi editor?

No. It all started when I was in mouse mode.

I'm confused by that answer. How about the keyboard shortcuts as shown in the mouse mode menu. Do they work?

I am a newbie to this program so sorry for being unclear. I am in Midi Editor "Midi Rec". Mouse Mode is one of my menu choices and Selection ... Magnifying Glass are my choices. I was stuck in magnifying glass even though I would choose Combi tool Note pencil,etc.. Thus I cold not enter any notes with my mouse.

I am happy to say the problem has resolved itself next day possibly due to m having run two system tools; DISM clean up image /restore health and Chkdsk f/r . Or it might be coincidence. We shall see.

Thanks for you trying to help.

This happens occasionally. It's a bug, and the cause is still unknown. It's always magnifying glass that gets stuck. Restarting the program doesn't fix it, but restarting the computer does. It will likely happen again, so there's what to do.
