Magix Vita file not found magix 2013

alfabutt wrote on 3/29/2015, 6:41 PM

Bought 2013 premium version in...2013. Just started using it again but cant access a lot of music pools and instruments as the error I mentioned keeps popping up, then no sound is played. this didn't happen when I used it before and is quite frustrating. This question has been asked a lot but no one seems to get down to an answer.

Windows 7

3Gig RAM

Please help.

I can't put up a picture unfortunately. With the add ons I do have a separate code but can't remember if I had input it before but I've recently reinstalled it and nothing was asked. I've also looked for how to install add ons and tried under the help tab but nothing I could see would allow me to add any pin number. Some of the loops in the soundpool I can't access. They have what looks like a face icon next to them. The big problem is this visa. I don't have it, I searched for it in the windows menu and nothing comes up. IInstrument tools like the bass machine and world percussion.

Hi,

You didn't supply much information to be able to help.

Can you post a screen shot that includes the Instruments tab open?

Can you open the Vita instrument?

Did you download and install all of the addons? If you don't know what this means, see my tutorial under the tutorials tab about getting started in MMM2015. It applies to 2013 as well.

You say you can't access a lot of music pools and instruments - which ones can you access and which can you not access?

Hi,

See this tutorial. It's for MMM2015 PREMIUM but some pertains to older versions.

Click on Help, About, and you will see if your program is registered - you will see the serial number.

Did you buy directly from Magix download or do you have the box version?

Why can't you post a screen shot? See this tutorial on how to do it.

Hi,

It may be that your files are not in the right place, have been moved or deleted.

Check that you have the following folders. Note that this is under Public and not your user name.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\MxSynth

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\MxSynth\Bass Machine

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\MxSynth\Bass Machine\image files

Under this last one should be a file called: Vita Bass Machine.ytif

If you can't find anything, try a search to see what happend to it all.

The same applies to everything else. For Vita acoustic pianos, you should have the following folder:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\MxSynth\Vita\image files

and the following file:

YT-MAGIX Acoustic Pianos.ytif

Let me know what you find.

Good luck!
